Semi-green tea from Kiriyama area, Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
The base is the Kanayamidori cultivar from the first harvest of May 2024. The oolong production process is 15 hours of withering, oxidation stops after 30 minutes, the tea is rolled several times for 15 minutes each and then dried for 1 hour.
The tea is very fresh, light, floral and sweet, with fruity tones but still full of body and flavour. A very drinkable and affordable oollong that reminds me most of the spring harvested Wen Shan Bao Zhong in its character. It is grown in organically managed gardens.

Brewing for 150ml: First infusion - 90-95C, 5g, 30-40s, second and third infusion 15-30s, other infusions according to individual preference
