Set of kyusu teapot, pouring cup and 3 cups from the famous historical city of Tokoname, by master Hirotaka Umehara-Gyokko kiln.

Kyusu, cups and founder are hand decorated with engraving almost all over and have original survival of firing which is unique.  

The kyusu teapot has a capacity of 180ml ( with leaves approx 145ml), the pouring cup 150ml matching the capacity of the teapot and 3 cups 60ml.  

A very nice set that is not so often available.

Before use: rinse the teapot in hot water and let it dry completely before first use

Maintenance: do not use detergents, dishwasher. Clean by hand, with clean water, without chemicals. Do not clean with clean detergents. The teapot should be left to dry after each use.
